“MistaDC’s debut solo EP, “Sorry We Lost You,” emerged from the success of singles like “Sunrays” and “Vicky, Fly Home.” As a key collaborator, I not only produced several tracks on the EP but also actively engaged as an executive producer in building ideas alongside instrumentalists and other producers. It was a rewarding opportunity to shape the seamless flow of the EP from one track to another. Beyond that, I contributed to the technical aspects, ensuring the EP was ready for distribution, and even played a role in producing some of the music videos. This experience has been invaluable, teaching me the art of crafting a cohesive project, exercising different skills beyond selecting great songs, and creating cherished memories in the process.”
